Management Team

Dr. Remington is a neurological surgeon and serial entrepreneur. His research interests include biotechnical manipulations of the nervous system. In 1990, Dr. Remington founded Headgate Software Corporation which created PentaCalc, and other simulation games. Headgate was successfully liquidated in 1996 when it was acquired by Sierra for $8.1 million. Dr. Remington received his M.D. from the University of Utah and completed residencies at the University of Utah and the University of Texas San Antonio. He received his Bachelor’s degree in physics with a math  and chemistry minor from the University of Utah.

Kavian Shahi,    M.D., PhD., VP of Clinical Affairs

Dr. Shahi is a practicing neurological surgeon and neuroscientist. He received his M.D., Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California where he graduated with Highest Distinction and was elected Alpha Omega Alpha. His dissertation was entitled “Regulation of synaptic efficacy at excitatory synapses by the affinity of glutamate receptors.” He completed a neurosurgical residency at the University of Utah. Dr. Shahi received Bachelor’s degrees in both biology and chemistry at the University of California, Irvine.

John Green,    Chief Operations Officer

John has 12 years of financial services industry experience. He has been working with NeuroPro since 2005. Prior to joining NeuroPro, he served as the Vice President of Operations for Ruesch International, a Washington DC based firm specializing in the international payments industry. From 2003 to 2005 he also served as Compliance Officer for Ruesch. In these capacities he developed and managed high quality, end-to-end processing systems for Ruesch's multi-billion dollar annual flow of international payments. John also developed and maintained a rigorous compliance and anti-money laundering program in accordance with federal regulations. Mr. Green holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Phoenix . He also holds a Master's of International Business from the University of South Carolina .
